1. Who We Are

2. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the app.

• Photos & media (on-device only): The app reads your photo library to detect duplicates, blurry images, and screenshots. This processing happens entirely on your device using on-device AI models. No photos or image data are uploaded, stored on remote servers, or shared with third parties.
• Storage metadata: File sizes and timestamps are read to calculate reclaimable space. This data is kept only in local app storage and is never transmitted.
• App preferences: Settings such as scan filters and analytics opt-out are stored locally via Android DataStore.

3. Analytics (Firebase Analytics)

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the app (e.g., which screens are visited, which features are used). This helps us improve the app.

• All analytics data is anonymized — no personally identifiable information is collected.
• No photos or image content are included in any analytics event.
• You can opt out at any time from the Settings screen ("Share analytics" toggle).
• Firebase Analytics is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Crash Reporting (Firebase Crashlytics)

We use Google Firebase Crashlytics to automatically detect and report app crashes. Crash reports contain device model, OS version, and a stack trace. They do not contain photos or personal data. Crash reporting is always active to ensure app stability.

5. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version of AI Photo Cleaner displays ads served by Google AdMob.

• AdMob may use your device's Advertising ID to serve personalized ads.
• Ads are shown only to users who have not purchased the ad-free upgrade.
• You can opt out of personalized ads at any time via Android Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization".
• AdMob is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Purchasing the lifetime ad-free upgrade removes all ads and stops AdMob from being loaded.

6. In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing)

In-app purchases are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. VHSolutions does not receive or store your payment card information. Purchase records are managed by Google Play and linked to your Google account.

7. Third-Party Services Summary

• Google Firebase Analytics — anonymized usage statistics
• Google Firebase Crashlytics — crash reports
• Google AdMob — advertising (free users only)
• Google Play Billing — in-app purchases

All third-party services are subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

8. Data Retention

All data processed by the app (photo analysis results, preferences, storage stats) is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored app data. We do not retain any server-side user data.

9. Children's Privacy

AI Photo Cleaner is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at harrytran.magic@gmail.com.

10. Your Rights

• Opt out of analytics: Toggle "Share analytics" off in Settings.
• Opt out of personalized ads: Android Settings → Google → Ads.
• Delete all app data: Android Settings → Apps → AI Photo Cleaner → Storage → Clear Data.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
